When: Registration is from February 22nd to March 9th - No late registrations will be accepted.
THE BOOK STUDY WILL BE OPEN FROM MARCH 26TH TO May18th 2012- The entire book study must be completed by May 18th
Cost Per Person: $35 including the book-
$45 if you are not a district or charter school in the CIU #10 area
This book study was designed as one way for Para Educators to gain professional development hours. This book provides an excellent overview of a variety of syndromes. It provides simple, straightforward strategies for anyone in the education field to apply to children who are in the syndrome mix.
The book study is designed to be self-paced and will take place over a two month span. After reading the book,the para educator will get on the CIU #10 website and answer a series of questions about each chapter of the book.
When all the requirements of the book study are met, 10 professional development hours will be awarded. The book study will be monitored by Amy Garvey, Special Education Supervisor at CIU #10. Once registration is complete, the Para Educator or the district will be billed.
Once the bill is paid, the para educator will receive the book in the mail and detailed instructions on how to sign in to the website and begin the book study. The directions will be sent by email.
